As we all know only too well, a period of time spent in hospital can be very tiring and emotionally taxing. Very often, even though you are well enough to go home, you are still not feeling 100% and are not ready to go back to work.

With a United Patients Policy you are paid for each and every day spent in hospital anywhere in the world with no limit, up to 365 days each year. In addition, if you have spent seven days or more in hospital as a result of an accident or illness you will automatically be entitled to an additional payment equivalent to 50% of the hospitalisation benefit paid to you already. This is an automatic payment, regardless of whether or not you need to spend time recovering at home.
