Sharzhad is a 23 year old Business Studies student who joined United Patients in 2004 together with her mum and dad. Much against the advice of her parents she bought herself a moped to get to and from University and in her second week she had an accident which left her with a broken left fibula. "When my mum and dad took out their policies and asked me to join as well, I said 'what for? I'm young and healthy' but then I took it because of the free holidays. When I had my accident all I could think about was how my dad was going to say 'I told you so' and give me a hard time about buying the moped.
